FAQ - Frequently asked questions

What is the VESA standard

The VESA standard, set by the Video Electronics Standards Association, defines the mounting points on the back of flat panel displays. It ensures that monitors and mounts from different manufacturers are compatible with each other.

Why is the VESA standard important

The main purpose of the VESA standard is to provide a uniform solution for mounting screens and to ensure compatibility between screens and mounts.

What are the different VESA standards?

There are different VESA standards such as MIS-D, MIS-E and MIS-F, which differ in the size and arrangement of the mounting holes.
You can find more explanation in our article about VESA standards.

Does every monitor have a VESA mount?

Not every monitor has a VESA mount. For such monitors we offer special VESA adap ters to attach them to VESA compatible mounts.
Here you can find our VESA adapters.

Which screws should I use for a VESA mount?

The choice of screws for a VESA mount depends on the VESA standard. For PC monitors, an M4 screw is often used, while larger standards, such as TVs, often require M6 or even M8 screws.

How to measure a VESA mount?

To measure the VESA mount, look at the back of your monitor and measure the distance between the screw holes in millimeters. This distance indicates the VESA standard. Example: 100x100 mm

What does VESA 100x100 mean?

VESA 100x100 is a standard for mounting holes on monitors and TVs. The numbers mean that the holes are 100 mm apart horizontally and 100 mm apart vertically.

Where can I find the VESA standard of my monitor?

Look at the back of your monitor or TV; the VESA standard is indicated by the distance between the mounting holes in millimeters.
